Asterisk includes a number of sound languages that can be used to create custom audio prompts and announcements for use in Asterisk-based systems. These sound languages allow users to create professional-quality audio prompts and messages that can be used for a variety of purposes, such as voicemail greetings, call routing announcements and interactive voice response (IVR) menus.
