passwd root
and set the password for root user.
Edit /etc/ssh/sshd_config and set/uncomment:
PermitRootLogin yes PasswordAuthentication yes
Reload service:
service sshd reload
Remove first line from /root/.ssh/authorized_keys
After setting up the system, this one can be changed back:
PasswordAuthentication no
Reload service:
service sshd reload
