Block Destination to User
If you need to block a special prefix (Destination), follow these steps:
- Create an empty LCR (without Providers in it) - "Empty LCR".
- In the LCR used by the user, use Call routing per destination basis to add the prefix you want to block.
- Assign "Empty LCR" to this prefix.
Now, when the user dials a number with this prefix (Destination), the call will be routed to the empty LCR, which is to say it will be dropped.
Block Destination to all Users
If you need to block a special prefix (Destination) to all Users, follow these steps:
- Create an empty LCR (without Providers in it) - "Empty LCR".
- In Localization Global Rule, add a rule for your prefix and set it to route to Empty LCR.
Now, when the user dials a number with this prefix (Destination), the call will be routed to the empty LCR, which is to say it will be dropped.
