Upgrading to the newest version that runs on Rocky Linux

We recommend the following steps:

  • Prepare a server according to our instructions. If you use our servers, we will handle this for you (a symbolic fee may apply for temporary server hosting).
  • We will install the latest version on a new server.
  • You can test it internally or with your close clients. If you use IP address-based authentication, you must inform your clients and providers about the upcoming change in your IP address.
  • At the agreed time, we will migrate the database from your old system to the new one. If you want us to perform this work outside of regular working hours, it will be charged at an hourly rate.
  • We will keep the old system active for 4 weeks so that you have enough time to notify your customers.
  • After that, the old system will be converted to a test license with a 2 concurrent calls limit (if you use your server) or decommissioned (if you use our server), and the new system will remain as your production system.

Upgrading within the same OS version

Quite often (with a few exceptions), an upgrade is done without a downtime.
