312 means Caller canceled the call while the call was in pre-Answer state/ringing.
If you like to investigate this further, you need to know the reason why Originator hangs up the call. Maybe its just destinations which Originators dials do no answer call for a long time. Or maybe its a long PDD and Originator hangs up the call as it does not get ringing signal.
