When this option is not selected (turned off), Distributor can activate or deactivate Calling Cards assigned to him. Payment is created only when Admin manually buys the Card. The moment Admin buys the Card, it is marked as Sold and it is also marked as activated in Distributor's Cards list. Distributor is still able to deactivate it.

When '''Charge Distributor on first use''' option is selected (turned on), Distributor is not able to deactivate or activate Calling Cards, assigned to him, or see Activate/Deactivate column in Cards list. Calling Cards Bulk Management is not available too. With this option selected when the card is assigned to the Distributor, it is also made active, but is not sold yet. Card is marked as sold and payment is created as soon as Distributor uses the card for the first time. At the same time Card's price is subtracted from the User's balance and you can check [[Action log]] and see Card id, that was used, and User id that used the Card.

As you can see in the chart above, when '''Charge Distributor on first use''' option is checked, when correct pin is entered Card price(without TAX) is deducted from Distributor balance and it is recorded into Actions log. Card Price will be added to Invoice with all other Distributor services.

Description

Distributor is simple user who can manage Calling Cards, assigned to him by Calling Card's owner (admin or reseller). Please note that Distributor is not an owner. Usually it is a person who buys cards and then resells them to his clients, stores or over the internet website.

Configuration

To assign Distributor to a Card go to ADDONS -> Calling Cards. Open any cards list and click Icon edit.pngEdit. You will see this window:

Select the user from a dropdown list and click Edit.

NOTE Also you can use Icon batch.pngBulk Management

Distributor settings

Settings for Distributors can be changed in ADDONS -> Calling Cards -> Settings.

Hide Calling Card PIN – Admin can disable PIN visibility for Distributors. When this option is checked, Distributor cannot see Calling Card's PIN, there is no such column in a Calling Card's table and PIN length is not displayed in Card Group list.


Usage

Distributor can see his Cards grouped into Calling Card Groups in PERSONAL MENU -> Various -> Calling Cards:

By clicking on a card list icon Details-icon.png, he goes to cards list, assigned to him:

Distributor can only activate or deactivate calling cards by clicking Icon cross.png (deactivate) or Icon check.png (activate). User can check calls that were made with cards by clicking Icon calls.png icon.
