In some cases you may need to dial a phone number with a pause (p - pause). For example:
23456854pp897745874
In that case you need:
- To Find out the appropriate pause character for your particular phone.
Check your phone's user manual to learn the letter or character that indicates a pause.
Different telephones use different characters
- Use a commma as a pause if you cannot find the real pause character for your phone.
This is the most common pause character in phones (other phones use letter p or symbols * #)
- Enter the number your phone needs to dial, continue with a pause character and add the destination to be entered after pause
into your phone address book. For example save such number (these are JUST examples):
23456854pp897745874
or for example
23456854,,897745874
- Save the new number to the phone memory
- Dial the number to test, listen as your phone dials to make sure that it is pausing long enough.
