* Reseller should increase the price for his user, so that price will be higher than the price he gets from system admin, i.e. from '''B > C''' he should make '''B < C'''.
* Reseller should mark user in his settings to [[Allow loss calls | ALLOW LOSS CALLS]] - that way '''reseller will take loss''' selling such calls.

* Reseller should increase price for his user, so that price would be higher then the price he gets from system admin, e.g. from '''B > C''' he should make '''B < C'''

Audio.png SYSTEM ERROR. CODE 218. Reseller does not allow loss calls.

This happens when the reseller sets a lower price for his user compared to the price
he pays to the system owner and the user is not allowed to make loss calls. The system saves the reseller from incurring a loss. To fix this problem, set a higher rate or allow loss calls for the reseller's user. For more information, please consult the online manual at wiki.kolmisoft.com.

Definitions

We have this situation, when:

  • system admin buys calls for price A from a provider.
  • system admin sells to a reseller, e.g. the reseller buys calls from system admin for price B.
  • reseller sells to his user, e.g. user buys from reseller calls for price C.

Short explanation

MOR will print this message when C < B and the reseller's user is not allowed to make loss calls.

in other words:

MOR will print this message when a reseller sets a lower price for his user compared to the price he gets from system admin AND the reseller's user is not allowed to make loss calls.

Detailed explanation

  • Condition in order for system admin to get a profit is A < B, i.e. admin should buy for a lower price than the selling price.
  • Condition in order for reseller to get a profit is B < C, i.e. reseller should buy for a lower price than the selling price.
  • By default, MOR does not allow for system admin and reseller to sell calls at a loss, i.e. does not allow them to sell when A > B or/and B > C.
  • System admin can sell to reseller with a lower price IF he marks ALLOW LOSS CALLS for the reseller in the reseller's settings, i.e. allows A > B.
  • The reseller can sell to his user with a lower price IF he marks ALLOW LOSS CALLS for the user in the user's settings, i.e.. allows B > C.
  • If a reseller does not allow loss calls for his user but tries to sell him calls with a lower price than he gets from admin (B > C), MOR will print a 218 error.

Solutions

  • Reseller should increase the price for his user, so that price will be higher than the price he gets from system admin, i.e. from B > C he should make B < C.
  • Reseller should mark user in his settings to ALLOW LOSS CALLS - that way reseller will take loss selling such calls.
