Mod fcgid installation

Execute the following commands:

cd /usr/src/
wget http://www.kolmisoft.com/files/packages/mod_fcgid.1.09.tar.gz
tar -xzf mod_fcgid.1.09.tar.gz
cd mod_fcgid.1.09
rm -fr Makefile
touch Makefile

For Debian:

Restart Apache.


[edit] Errors

[edit] /bin/sh: /usr/lib/apr-1/build/libtool: No such file or directory

Execute:

locate libtool

As an example, we see:

/usr/lib64/apr-1/build/libtool

So we need to edit file /usr/src/mod_fcgid.1.09/Makefile. Change the line:

top_dir      = /usr/lib/httpd 

to:

top_dir      = /usr/lib64/httpd 

... and compile again.
