Error: Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: epel. Please verify its path and try again

It is possible to see this error when installing the switch.

Try:

yum --disablerepo=epel -y update  ca-certificates

If it does not help (and you see error [Errno 14] problem making ssl connection):

yum update
reboot
